- Pediatrician name and contact information
- Emergency contacts and their phone numbers
Booking Information
- Service type, date, time, and duration
- Special instructions provided during booking
- Booking status and history
- Payment records (amounts and dates — no card data stored)
Messages
Messages sent between parents, sitters, and the platform administrator are stored to support coordination and resolve disputes.
Technical Information
- Device type and operating system
- IP address and browser information (collected automatically)
- Pages or features accessed within the app
- Website usage metrics to improve performance

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We share information only as follows:
With Assigned Sitters
When a sitter is assigned to your booking, they will see your name, booking details, and any child safety or emergency information you have provided.
With the Platform Administrator
Maya, as the platform administrator, has access to all account information, bookings, and messages to manage operations and ensure safety.
With Service Providers
- Supabase — our database and authentication provider (SOC 2 Type II compliant)
- Vercel — our hosting provider
- Square / Venmo — external payment processors. We do not store payment card information; please review their privacy policies directly.
For Legal Reasons
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users or others.
5. Children's Information
Our app is designed for use by adults. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts. Parents may provide information about their children to facilitate safe care. This information:
- Is entered solely by the parent and treated with the highest level of confidentiality
- Is accessible only to the assigned sitter and the platform administrator
- Is used only to provide safe, appropriate care
- Is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing purposes

- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure, authenticated database access via Supabase Row Level Security
- Role-based access controls (parents, sitters, and administrators see only what they need)
No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Our platform may link to third-party services such as Square or Venmo. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services and encourage you to review their policies before providing any information.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction — update or correct your information at any time within the app
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data

9. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active and as long as necessary for service delivery and legal compliance. Booking records may be retained for up to 3 years. You may request deletion at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
