This Service Agreement ("Agreement") outlines the expectations, liabilities, and responsibilities between Maya's MSB ("Provider") and the Parent/Guardian ("Client"). By booking services, the Client agrees to the following terms.

Service Commitment: The Provider agrees to deliver professional, reliable childcare services — including in-home childcare, pet sitting, and overnight care — during the agreed booking period.

I confirm that I have received, read, and understand the Terms & Policies provided by Mayas MSB. I agree to follow all rules, guidelines, and procedures outlined, including but not limited to:

• Scheduling and cancellation policies
• Payment terms and methods
• Safety, health, and supervision protocols
• Child behavior and care guidelines

• Provide accurate information about children, household environment, and care expectations.
• Ensure safe home conditions.
• Maintain communication during service.
• Pay all applicable fees on time.
• Treat all Maya's Magic School Bus sitters with courtesy and respect. Verbal abuse, harassment, or disrespectful behavior will result in immediate suspension of services without refund.

Payment is due after each session via Square or Venmo (@MayasMSB). Rates are confirmed at time of booking. Late payments may result in additional fees or suspension of services. Client agrees to pay:

• Hourly rate(s) as confirmed at booking
• Overtime fees where applicable
• Travel fees (+$5 for 10–20 miles · +$10 for 20+ miles) per session
• Holiday fees where applicable
• Cancellation charges and same-day booking fees as listed in the Policies

Tips are optional and go directly to your sitter.

Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations (under 24 hours) or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee at Maya's discretion. Repeated late cancellations may affect your ability to book future sessions.

The Client authorizes the sitter to contact emergency services if needed and agrees to assume financial responsibility for any resulting medical costs. In the event of a medical emergency where the parent/guardian cannot be reached, I grant permission for MayasMSB and its staff to:

• Provide care for my child in accordance with standard childcare practices
• Administer minor first aid if necessary
• Contact emergency services in the event of a serious injury or illness

All emergency contact and medical information must be kept current in your Emergency Form inside this app.

Children and pets must be in good health at the time of care. Please reschedule if your child or pet has a fever, vomiting, contagious illness, or other signs of sickness. This protects all families in our network.

Sitters may take photos or short videos during care sessions to share updates directly with you. No images or videos of your child or pet will ever be posted publicly, shared on social media, or distributed to third parties without your explicit written consent.

The Client acknowledges that childcare involves inherent risks. By signing or booking services, the Client agrees to release and hold harmless Maya's MSB and its sitters from claims arising from:

• Minor injuries or accidents typical in childcare
• Household hazards
• Pre-existing medical conditions or undisclosed allergies
• Incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the Client
• Events reasonably outside sitter control

This waiver does not apply in cases of proven negligence. Our sitters are trained and background-verified but are not licensed medical professionals.

By using the Maya's Magic School Bus app, you agree to receive push notifications related to your account and bookings. These may include booking confirmations, session reminders, clock-in and clock-out alerts, payment reminders, and messages from Maya or your assigned sitter. You may manage notification preferences through your device settings at any time.

This agreement may be updated periodically. You will be notified in the app and asked to review and re-sign when material changes are made.

By booking a service through mayasmsb.com or written confirmation, the Client agrees to the full Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Parent Policies. By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the Terms & Policies of Maya's Magic School Bus. I understand that failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of childcare services.
